St Joseph's EMHSS Thrikkakara had its inception in the year 1963 by the Carmelite sisters of St.Teresa(CSST), a community started by Servant of God Mother Teresa of St.Rose of Lima. The school is one of the oldest in the region and it continues to be one of the premium educational institutions in the district. The schools strives to impact quality education without distinction of religion caste or creed.   The school grew in leaps and bounds ,ensuring high levels of academic achievement for the students. Josephites of woods with its Motto" For God and country " will certainly go out as responsible citizens with human values.
